• Parents of newborns and other health conscience consumers.
• Home buyers and peer-to-peer renters, real estate agencies, apartment complexes and assisted living communities.

Q: What is Potters Disinfectant 275?
A powerful, broad spectrum disinfectant containing hypochlorous acid, it offers superior germicidal, biocidal, and sporicidal properties, and has been shown to eliminate pathogens such C-Dif, E-Coli O-157, Hepatitis A, HIV, Influenza (flu), Pneumonia, Legionella, Listeria, MERSA, Salmonella, Staphylococcus, and Streptococcus. For additional information ask PENN.
Q: How does an electro static sprayer work?
Electrostatic spraying provides superior spray coverage by more effectively dispensing solutions than conventional sprayers.
Q: How does hypochlorous acid work?
Hypochlorous acid is highly oxidized, and when it comes into contact with pathogen cells it damages the cell wall, enters the cell, and kills it. Scientific literature refers to this as the oxidative burst process.
Q: How long will it take to treat my home or workplace?
It varies based on the square footage and room layout. An average three bedroom home can be completed in 2 to 3 hours including testing, spray setup, treatment, teardown, and checkout. Our technicians will give you a time estimate prior to treatment.
Q: Do I have to leave my home during treatment?
No. Unless you or a family member has an extraordinary sensitivity to salt and/or chlorine, or a serious respiratory condition, you, your family, and pets can simply go to another part of your home during treatment.
Q: Will I notice anything afterwards?
There may be some residual dampness which will eventually evaporate. Turn on whole house and/or room fans, to quicken the evaporation process.
There may be a slight ‘indoor pool’ chlorine scent after treatment; this scent will dissipate as the residual dampness, and air moisture, evaporate.
Q: How long do the results of the treatment last?
Up to 99% of pathogens present on exposed surfaces are killed at the time of treatment. The pathogen killing capacity ends when the fogged vapor applied during our treatment process evaporates.
Q: How much does it cost?
Gives us call and our sales team will gladly give you an estimate.
Q: What is ATP Testing?
ATP testing is used in hospitals and food processing facilities. ATP (adenosine triphosphate) is an energy molecule found in all living cells. All organic matter contains ATP, including blood, saliva, and bacteria. Detection of ATP on a surface is an indication of contamination, and provides a means of measuring cleaning effectiveness. PENN utilizes ATP Testing to measure the effectiveness of our treatments.
Q: Is Potters Disinfectant 275 allowed for use by the USDA?
Yes, it meets or exceeds USDA requirements for use in food service sanitation and disinfecting. Read USDA Requirements
Q: Is Potters Disinfectant 275 allowed for use in the production of organic foods?
Yes, it meets the requirements of the Organic Materials Review Institute (OMRI) for electrolyzed water with hypochlorous acid. Read OMRI Requirements
And the requirements of the National Organic Standards Board for use as a sanitizer under the National Organic Program.

Q: Since Potters Disinfectant 275 is created from a saline solution, and contains an acid, how do you prevent residual salt or acid on treated surfaces? Will it cause corrosion?
Hypochlorous acid (HOCL) is a weak acid which can only exist as a gas dissolved within a liquid. As our sanitizing micro-fog evaporates any unused HOCL biodegrades.
Potters Disinfectant 275 has been specially formulated to minimize chloride ion count, nearly eliminating residual salt, and reducing the rate of corrosion when compared to other sanitizers. Testing has found it to be safe for use on a range of materials from cloth to metals. For additional information ask PENN.
